Ingredients

  • 1 lb Simply Nature Organic Grass-Fed Ground Beef
  • 1/2 cup Simply Nature Organic Salsa Mild
  • 1 cup Organic White Rice dry
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth or water
  • 1 can Simply Nature Organic Sweet Corn
  • 1.5 cups Organic Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 1 tbsp Taco Seasoning or Chili Powder/Cumin mix

Instructions

  • Brown: Heat a large skillet with a lid on Level 7 (Medium-High). Brown the beef until cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
  • Combine: Add the dry rice, salsa, broth, corn, and taco seasoning to the beef. Stir well.
  • Simmer: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to Level 3 (Low). Cover tightly and simmer for 15-18 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
  • Cheese: Remove from heat, sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over the top, and put the lid back on for 2 minutes to melt the cheese.
  • Serve: Serve hot in bowls.
